I have played piano ally my life but bought my first Kawai piano at the Piano Man in Leeds about ten years ago (on the strong recommendation from a jazz pianist friend of mine). The owner Mark provided me with all the information and advice that I required and guided me towards the sort of piano that he believed would suit my style, ability and price range. I was definitely not disappointed with the service!
Ten years later, when I wanted to upgrade to a better model, I returned to the Piano Man. Mark and the rest of his team (inc. David and Oliver) once again excelled in customer service. I spent many hours over numerous days playing every piano in the shop (quite a lot!) and eventually (with their help and advice) settled on the excellent Kawai K600. Including the trade-in on my old Kawai, and a generous price reduction on the K600, I got an overall very competitive deal, with which I am totally satisfied.
In summary – there is only one shop that I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a new or second-hand piano and that is the Piano Man, Leeds!
Having looked all over the north for our ''forever" piano, I went along to The Piano Man, where I spent 2 hours playing a great selection of pianos and talking - they were so helpful and care about their customers getting something right for their needs. We now have the perfect piano! Thanks The Piano Man!
If you're looking for a piano, look no further. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff who helped me engineer a surprise birthday present for my son, complete with a video showing his reaction when the piano arrived! We all love the Piano Man
Excellent service from Mark & Oliver as we purchased 6 pianos for Leeds University Union's new music practice building. This was a very long process, as our funding process & refurbishment schedule meant we couldn't accept delivery for our a year. Mark and Oliver were really helpful throughout and we're really happy with the outcome for our students. Highly recommended.
